Castle Conference

CastlePhotoSince 1996, members of the self-study community have met every two years at the Queen’s University International Study Centre  at Hersmonceux Castle, U.K. The “Castle Conference” provides a significant opportunity for both scholarship and building community.

Sept. 19, 2015 Proposals due (from authors)
Sept. 30, 2015 Reviewers receive proposals for review
Oct. 21, 2015 Proposal reviews due (from reviewers)
Nov. 4, 2015 Notification of acceptance to authors
Jan. 31, 2016 First draft of conference paper due (3000 word maximum)
Feb. 5, 2016 Reviewers receive first draft of papers for review
Feb. 28, 2016 First draft reviews due from reviewers
Mar. 14, 2016 Authors receive feedback on first draft
Apr. 9, 2016 Authors send revised papers (ready for publication) to editors
May 7, 2016 Editors send lead author proof of final paper for approval or minor changes
May 14, 2016 Authors return proofs to editors
June 19th 2016 Registration details collected
June 24th 2016 Conference proceedings put online
July 30th 2016 Conference begins
